    What I like about this typography shown in the image is the font size and it makes the emphasis of the font seem real. The color just seems so plain plus it should have different variety of colors. The  Typography seems interesting but it should have different variety of colors.


     2.   How does the image make you feel?

The image makes me feel kind of confused because the font is like jumping out at me.

What I like about the Typography shown in the image is it gives some attention to it. It plays with words too much that it ends up getting confusing. The size of the Typography is alright but it needs to be less confusing.

The image makes me feel confused because i don't understand the message it was trying to say.

What I like about this Typography shown in the image is that the font is 3-D like but the words Keep On and Desire are emphasized.The color is just plain since they used only black and white.

The image makes me feel confident and shows some balance in the Typography.

What I like about this Typography shown in the image is it emphasized the word Stay. The color is pretty but there should be more variety of colors in the Typography.


     2.  How does the image make you feel?


The image makes me feel happy because it says Stay Hungry Stay Foolish but at the same time it makes me feel random and hyper.

What I like about this Typography shown in the image is it emphasized all of the words in the message. The color is pretty cool along with the font that's being used.

The image makes me feel kind of depressing but at the same time a bit happy because sometimes I want to be alone rather then fake a smile and pretend everything is alright.

Assignment # 16 Tilt Session Re:Post-Production

The part that was fun is the editing because I didn't do the filming of the project since my other group mates did the filming while I was on a school trip to Southern California plus that was the only fun part for me. The part that was difficult is there wasn't any difficulty doing this project at all well except two people in my group didn't know how to edit the video even after I showed them how to edit a clip to make the clip better. What I would change for the next time is splitting the movie into a 3 part editing session.

Assignment #15: TILT Reflection

     This week, my group and I accomplish was finishing the pitch worksheet and the scene and dialogue draft. It was really awesome that we got to put our own ideas and opinions in the scene and dialogue but  for the pitch worksheet we got to put all our ideas into one. The team tries to put all their effort into making our film better but most of the time we didn't get the work done until we had to tell each other to get on task to get the work done.  Even though it's not easy to get the work done but at least we try to get most of the work done.  The struggles our team faced was picking the genres for our film and we kept on fighting over what film genres that we wanted in the film. Our team  worked through the struggle by making a compromise about the genre we wanted in the film. I'm looking forward to get done with shooting the videos and edit all of them when we shoot our film next week. 

It was nerve wrecking when we had to go to the front of the class to present our pitch to the class. What I got out of this session was constructive criticism from my peers and learned how to get used to sharing a pitch to the whole class. The session helped me get through my nervousness when speaking in front of the class about an idea that we are going to make as a film. It went really well when people gave their comments about our pitch and what we should do about our film.

Assignment #11: Technology Interview & We Video

The challenges of being interviewed on camera are the questions were too proficient, background noises, the thought process of an answer to the question, there was no prep time, eye contact to the camera, and staying in character. The questions were too proficient because it wasn't explained as much that we can understand. The background was too noisy to record the interviews and it was disturbing us or the interviewee. The thought process of an answer to the question was too hard and it was hard to choose which technology was our favorite. There was no prep time to prepare ourselves to answer the questions that we were being asked about. Staying in character when being interviewed without goofing off in the videos was really hard.


What we learned about conducting an interview is that it has a lot of work and we had to think really hard about the answers because it was hard to choose which technology was our favorite. No, we didn't try anything exciting but one of our group members tried smiling in the camera was the exciting part of the interview video.Being interview was kind a like the exciting part to too, but the interruption on the background makes us lost our focus. One thing that should be changed is a more detailed question like how would the media portray you or the community because it was really confusing and no one didn't understand the question. Another thing that should be changed is the setting of the interview because there were too many background noises.

Assignment #10: Genre Brainstorming

1) Family: Families in Hayward are in need and the trillion dollars will help better their lives. They will do anything for a trillion dollars. The tasks will range from sane to idiotic.

2) Society: We are going to be telling stories about families in society and we will reenact their stories with puppets.

3) Unemployed: An unemployed man falls in love with a wealthy woman. She doesn't know that the man is unemployed. He tries to hide the fact that he is unemployed, but she ends up finding out his secret. The woman ultimately has to decide whether to love him as a poor man or let him go.

The 2 videos I like are the close up shot of each group member and the conveying of anger without showing a person because the first video showed anger without showing the person and the the close up video of each member was funny. The lighting was really well and the videos didn't turn out dark so we shot the video in the quad and in between C-hall and D-hall.

Assignment #8: Filming Group Process Reflection

         Our group process in brainstorming and coming up with 5 ideas was talking about which people we feel obligated to help. The 1st idea that we came up with was families and we talked about how we wanted to help our families with their needs. The 2nd idea was the unemployed and our group wanted to help out the people who are unemployed. The 3rd idea that we came up with was the homeless people. We talked about how we want to build recovery homes for the homeless. The 4th idea that we came up with was rapists and those were the least people we wanted to help. The 5th idea that we came up with was murders and those were the least people we wanted to help.

The 3 movie ideas our group wanted to focus on was families, society and the unemployed. We wanted to do our movie on is a documentary. The movie idea I want to focus on is families because families have needs that needed a huge help. Most of the families like need help on paying the electric bills and water bills. Families is the biggest movie idea I want to focus on more than society and the unemployed.

Assignment #7: If you had a trillion dollars how would you help your community?

If I had a trillion dollars I would use the money for food for the needy or recovery homes for the homeless who have lost their homes. I would buy some supplies for the homeless people like food, water and shelter so they wont be homeless and living on the street. I would also use the money to stop the vandalism in our community that we see everyday when we come across it. My community needs a clean environment with less gang violence if i had a trillion dollars. I would help out my parents with paying all the bills if i had that kind of money on me.

Assignment #6: Typography Portrait

The process for this project was kind of easy and kind of hard but in the end it was really easy to put everything together and finalize the product of it. What I like about this project is making words cover my face but you can still see my face through the words. I would change my picture and replace it with me wearing the CMMA gear instead of the sweater and beanie I wore on that day. The color of my picture got a bit darker then the original photo because of the effect that was used on the lyrics of my top 40's/100's song. The balance in my photo has been arranged the way I wanted it to be arranged to make the stability to work.

Assignment #4: Fruitvale Station Reflection

          One scene that was so emotional to me was when the dog got run over by a car near the gas station where Oscar was filling his car with gas. In that scene it was all dead air but then a car goes by so fast it hit the dog. The camera angle that was used in the scene was close up shot of the dog bleeding from the mouth. Another scene that was so emotional to me was when the police shot Oscar from the back. The camera angle for that was a close up shot of how Oscar was lying on the floor of the Fruitvale Station.



         The emotional impact I felt when I saw those first scene was sadness and I started to cry when I saw how the dog got hit by a car. The emotions that came about from the first scene was sadness and how the car just like randomly came by then just runs the dog over when Oscar wasn't looking. The emotional impact I felt when I saw the next scene was Oscar and his friends didn't do anything but the police think they did something. The emotions that came about from the scene was hurt because Oscar had his face pushed to the ground by the police. Also his friends were screaming out his name and couldn't do anything to help him out.

Typography is like a type of design that you can make in 3d or rearrange them.



What i like about this portrait is it shows a girl holding a flower. They used a light blue color a lot. There are different types of fonts used to make the picture. It captures my eye because i notice its a girl looking at the flower as if it was interesting to look at.














 I like this portrait because it looks very unique. It uses different types of color to distinguish the color of the skin, the hair color and the color of the lips. The picture looks like they used one type of font. It captures my eye because it shows a girl outside wearing sunglasses to shield the sun from her eyes.

I like this because it uses only two types of color. There are many different types of fonts used in the picture. The sunglasses have words written on it. It captures my eye because i like the color of the glasses and the quote that said we love not war cause we don't need no more trouble.

         My topic is about the Modernism which is a trend of thought that affirms the power of human beings to improve and reshape the environment also its a source for ideas to deal with the challenges of the day. The modernists influences architecture, design, fashion, and the visual arts. In Modernism its a political,cultural, artistic movements at the end of the 19th century and early 20th century. In the 1930s modern ideas showed up in art (memorable visual symbols). The cultural movements in art before the 1919.


        Modernism relates to Visual communication because it has the same techniques of design and expresses the artist's perspective of their world. My topic uses the same techniques as Visual communication like typography, graphic design, visual arts, architecture.It helps them express what their perspective is of their world and how they see it. Modernism helps people give them the voice in art. The way they see it in art perspective.
