The 2 videos I like are the close up shot of each group member and the conveying of anger without showing a person because the first video showed anger without showing the person and the the close up video of each member was funny. The lighting was really well and the videos didn't turn out dark so we shot the video in the quad and in between C-hall and D-hall.

Assignment #8: Filming Group Process Reflection

         Our group process in brainstorming and coming up with 5 ideas was talking about which people we feel obligated to help. The 1st idea that we came up with was families and we talked about how we wanted to help our families with their needs. The 2nd idea was the unemployed and our group wanted to help out the people who are unemployed. The 3rd idea that we came up with was the homeless people. We talked about how we want to build recovery homes for the homeless. The 4th idea that we came up with was rapists and those were the least people we wanted to help. The 5th idea that we came up with was murders and those were the least people we wanted to help.

The 3 movie ideas our group wanted to focus on was families, society and the unemployed. We wanted to do our movie on is a documentary. The movie idea I want to focus on is families because families have needs that needed a huge help. Most of the families like need help on paying the electric bills and water bills. Families is the biggest movie idea I want to focus on more than society and the unemployed.

Assignment #7: If you had a trillion dollars how would you help your community?

If I had a trillion dollars I would use the money for food for the needy or recovery homes for the homeless who have lost their homes. I would buy some supplies for the homeless people like food, water and shelter so they wont be homeless and living on the street. I would also use the money to stop the vandalism in our community that we see everyday when we come across it. My community needs a clean environment with less gang violence if i had a trillion dollars. I would help out my parents with paying all the bills if i had that kind of money on me.

Assignment #6: Typography Portrait

The process for this project was kind of easy and kind of hard but in the end it was really easy to put everything together and finalize the product of it. What I like about this project is making words cover my face but you can still see my face through the words. I would change my picture and replace it with me wearing the CMMA gear instead of the sweater and beanie I wore on that day. The color of my picture got a bit darker then the original photo because of the effect that was used on the lyrics of my top 40's/100's song. The balance in my photo has been arranged the way I wanted it to be arranged to make the stability to work.

Assignment #4: Fruitvale Station Reflection

          One scene that was so emotional to me was when the dog got run over by a car near the gas station where Oscar was filling his car with gas. In that scene it was all dead air but then a car goes by so fast it hit the dog. The camera angle that was used in the scene was close up shot of the dog bleeding from the mouth. Another scene that was so emotional to me was when the police shot Oscar from the back. The camera angle for that was a close up shot of how Oscar was lying on the floor of the Fruitvale Station.



         The emotional impact I felt when I saw those first scene was sadness and I started to cry when I saw how the dog got hit by a car. The emotions that came about from the first scene was sadness and how the car just like randomly came by then just runs the dog over when Oscar wasn't looking. The emotional impact I felt when I saw the next scene was Oscar and his friends didn't do anything but the police think they did something. The emotions that came about from the scene was hurt because Oscar had his face pushed to the ground by the police. Also his friends were screaming out his name and couldn't do anything to help him out.

Typography is like a type of design that you can make in 3d or rearrange them.



What i like about this portrait is it shows a girl holding a flower. They used a light blue color a lot. There are different types of fonts used to make the picture. It captures my eye because i notice its a girl looking at the flower as if it was interesting to look at.














 I like this portrait because it looks very unique. It uses different types of color to distinguish the color of the skin, the hair color and the color of the lips. The picture looks like they used one type of font. It captures my eye because it shows a girl outside wearing sunglasses to shield the sun from her eyes.

I like this because it uses only two types of color. There are many different types of fonts used in the picture. The sunglasses have words written on it. It captures my eye because i like the color of the glasses and the quote that said we love not war cause we don't need no more trouble.

         My topic is about the Modernism which is a trend of thought that affirms the power of human beings to improve and reshape the environment also its a source for ideas to deal with the challenges of the day. The modernists influences architecture, design, fashion, and the visual arts. In Modernism its a political,cultural, artistic movements at the end of the 19th century and early 20th century. In the 1930s modern ideas showed up in art (memorable visual symbols). The cultural movements in art before the 1919.


        Modernism relates to Visual communication because it has the same techniques of design and expresses the artist's perspective of their world. My topic uses the same techniques as Visual communication like typography, graphic design, visual arts, architecture.It helps them express what their perspective is of their world and how they see it. Modernism helps people give them the voice in art. The way they see it in art perspective.
